Shipping policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at The Trendy Walrus. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Shipment processing time

While we aim to process and ship orders on the same day, we can only guarantee that all orders are processed within 3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. 

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

All orders to the United States will have a $20 CAD shipping fee.

Canadian orders are shipped Canada Post Expedited service with an estimated delivery of 2 to 9 business days. 

United States orders will be originating from Canada, and can take a little longer to cross the border. Allow for up to two weeks for your package to arrive.

Please note that delivery delays can occasionally occur, and that the above figures are only an estimate.

 

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Our system will sometimes not send an automated tracking email for packages going to the United States. If this happens, and the package has taken longer than two weeks to arrive, contact support@thetrendywalrus.com. We will contact Canada Post to get more information about your package.

 

Customs, Duties and Taxes

www.TheTrendyWalrus.com is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

5% GST is charged on orders shipped within Canada.  7% PST is charged on all orders shipped into BC.  13% HST is charged on all orders that are shipped into Ontario. Effective September 1, 2019, 9.975% QST is charged on all orders shipped into Quebec.

 

Damages

www.thetrendywalrus.com is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

 

International Shipping Policy

www.thetrendywalrus.com ships to all addresses within Canada and the United States. All of our return policies are the same for both countries.
