Canada Post Strike Shipping Notice
Shipping Delays Due to Canada Post Strike Activity
Starting November 15, Canada Post may experience delays due to strike activity by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW). While Canada Post will continue to operate, customers should be prepared for disruptions in processing and delivery.
What You Can Expect:
- Rotating Strikes: Delivery and processing may be delayed in specific regions, but unaffected areas will continue to operate normally. However, delays could ripple throughout the network.
- National Labour Disruption: If the strike becomes national, mail and parcels will not be delivered, and no new items will be accepted until the disruption ends. Once the situation resolves, all packages will be delivered in the order they were received.
Service Impact:
- On-Time Delivery: On-time delivery guarantees will remain in place for parcels, but may be temporarily suspended in affected regions.
- Neighbourhood Mail™: Date-specific delivery for Neighbourhood Mail™ will be suspended. We'll notify you once it's reinstated.
What This Means for Your Orders:
If your order is affected by a strike, there will be delays in processing and shipping. We appreciate your patience as we work with Canada Post to minimize disruption.
